Ryan Hager
Ryan is a Class-A PGA Professional from Rochester, New York. He is the Director of Instruction at Plainfield Country Club in Edison, NJ. Recently recognized by Golf Digest as the youngest of the nation’s top golf instructors under 40 years of age, Ryan wants to help you improve your game today. He works with players of all ages and ability levels and has studied under some of the top teaching professionals in the US including Jim McLean, Jason Carbone, Jeff Smith, Jeff Pierce, John Graham, John Bierkan, James Ridyard, and many more.
Ryan’s coaching has expanded rapidly over the last few years and he has set a new standard for how to reach students all around the world. His reach spans over 20 countries worldwide and he has individual coaching programs set up in many of them. Ryan has contributed to a number of different industry publications and organizations, including Golf Digest, Titleist, and NJPGA.

John Bierkan
John has been around golf his entire life. His father, Dick Bierkan, has been a PGA Professional in Connecticut for 48 years. John credits his father’s work ethic, character and integrity as a driving force in his life. John’s early childhood home was on club property and he would spend much of his time with his father. John was always hanging around the club working on his game and learning the business of golf. John knew from an early age that he would one day grow up to be a PGA Professional. His love of competition, fascination with the golf swing and desire to help others play better has been a strong motivation in his career.
Prior to becoming the Director of Instruction at Aronimink Golf Club in Philadelphia, John served as the Director of Instruction at Caves Valley Golf Club in Baltimore. In the winter, John is the Director of Instruction at Old Marsh Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Prior to moving to Old Marsh for the winters in 2016, John served as the Director of Instruction at Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach, Florida for eight years. Golf Digest rated John one of America’s Best Young Teachers between 2010-2017, was named the 2014 & 2018 Philadelphia PGA Teacher of the Year, voted by Golf Digest as one of the Best Teachers in the State of Pennsylvania and U.S. Kids Golf named John one of the Top 50 Kids Coaches in 2018.

Matt Wilson
Matt is now in his second season as the Director of Instruction at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ. Matt comes to the New Jersey golf scene after spending the previous 3 years working for Golf Canada and that country's National teams. Prior to his stint north of the border, Matt was part of the coaching staff at Stanford University. Additionally, Matt spent 3 seasons as the Director of Instruction at La Rinconada Country Club in San Francisco, California. Finally, Matt spent 3 seasons as the Golf Coach at Seneca College.
